Holland. The test applies this theory with the aim of helping individuals to identify the best career path.

Themes

Realistic (doers), investigative (thinkers), artistic (creators), social (helpers), enterprising (persuaders), and conventional (organizers).

Uses

Career counselling and career guidance.

Question Format

The test employs Yes or No answers through the selection or de-selection of particular responses.

No. of Questions

42

Cost

Free to use and free to interpret.

Results

Results are interpreted by the individual based on a mathematical formula presented at the end of the test. This calculation process provides a three-letter interest code which is supposed to summarise the individuals personality, providing guidance on the types of career they might be suited to.
